Alaska so far

Hey everyone! So I have been in Alaska for 2 weeks today and the time has gone by so fast. I haven't been able to spend much time on the computer, but I am at the library now with only 25 minutes left; so I will try my best to update the trip. I've been staying in Palmer which is a large town but not big enough for anything really exciting. Everyone here is into the scene so I kind of stick out like a sore thumb. The people are really amazing and really laid back. I have been invited to hang out with people just by a moments meet. The church here is amazing, to me it is the perfect church. Right now they have absolutely no building and they have about 500 people who attend. They are not worried about having a building, they realize that the church is the people and it has really stretched them to go out instead of expecting people to come in. They are really moving in the spirit and it seems that every time I am in the midst of a group of people there are always people praying for each other.

Tony, his mother, Levi and another girl named Cassie all just got a house so these first 2 weeks were a bit stressful trying to find a location. While they were looking we were staying with a lady of outrageous faith. She had a grandchild that was 5 months premature.... that was 6 months ago and the baby is still alive and breathing. She has seen things from God that I cannot even comprehend. So being here has really stretched my faith in many ways.

Also being here I have discovered things about Canada that are holding people back from really seeking God's face, the 2 words God gave me were materialism and complacency. I am learning about the war and battle. I have met so many people with so many outrageous stories; Tony has probably the craziest story of all and I'm still discovering more.

Last night Tony and I climbed to the top of a mountain called the Butte. It was probably one of the coolest things that I have done. It was beautiful from the top; in the distance we could see the glacier.

I have been taking pictures; for the most part we have been stuck in the valley; we are hoping to take a trip to the ocean because I have never seen the ocean.

All in all things are going amazing, I have to get off now, there is still so much more I would like to say, i might try to come back tomorrow and write some more. I also want to post some pictures. I am behind on peoples lives and I want to get caught up, like Tommi frick girl you have so many more new blog posts. ANyways I'm getting kicked out. Love you and miss you all. pray for me me cause I need lots of it!
